PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a seat catch attachment structure of a straddle-type vehicle in which a seat catch mechanism is covered by a seat catch cover so as not to be directly and visually recognized from the outside and thereby an anti-theft effect is enhanced.SOLUTION: In a seat catch attachment structure of a straddle-type vehicle, a storage part 10 is provided below a seat 9. The storage part 10 can be opened and closed by the seat 9. The seat catch attachment structure includes a seat catch mechanism 70 configured to be held in a lock state where the seat 9 cannot be opened and closed and in a lock released state where the lock state is released. The seat catch mechanism 70 is covered by a seat catch cover 80 so as not to be visually recognized from the outside. The seat catch cover 80 is arranged between an exterior component 11 provided above a vehicle body rear portion and a tail light unit 12 provided rearward of the vehicle body rear portion. An upper surface portion 83a of the seat catch cover 80 is surrounded by a portion of the exterior component 11. A lower surface portion 83b of the seat catch cover 80 is provided close to a vehicle body front side of a housing 12a of the tail light unit 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
