Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transition metal complex with a tridentate ligand which can produce an olefinic polymer and can be synthesized inexpensively by a simple synthetic pathway compared to conventional metallocene complexes.SOLUTION: An α-olefin polymerization catalyst comprises a transition metal complex being a product of a reaction of a complex precursor being a group 4 transition metal compound with a substituted amine compound represented by general formula (1) (where R, R, R, R, R-R, Z, Z, R, R, Q, Y, m, p and W are as defined in the specification).SELECTED DRAWING: None
