Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure superior in connectivity between a lightweight surface treatment material, having a surface treatment coating on a base material made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a metal member, according to the present invention.SOLUTION: A connection structure 100 according to the present invention is a connection structure formed by uniting a surface treatment material 10 and a metal member 50 together through metallic joining. The surface treatment material 10 has a base material 1 made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a surface treatment coating 2 consisting of one or more metal layers formed on the base material 1, and the lowermost metal layer formed directly on the base material 1 among the one or more metal layers is made of nickel, nickel alloy, cobalt, cobalt alloy, copper, or copper alloy, and has an interposing layer 3, containing a metal component of base material 1, a metal component in the surface treatment coating 2, and an oxygen component, on a boundary surface between the base material 1 and surface treatment coating 2, the interposing layer 3 having an average thickness of 1.00-40 nm which is measured on a vertical cross section of the surface treatment material 2 before the metallic joining.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
