PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material in which decorative components are suitably positioned.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: A building material comprises: vertical rails 18 each of which includes a front surface 32 formed with a mating groove 34; decorative components 36 each of which includes a decorative part 48 applied with decoration, extends in the longitudinal direction of the mating groove 34, and is mated into the mating groove 34 so that the decorative part 48 is exposed; and lower stopping tools 38 each of which is fixed in the mating groove 34 and contacts with the lower end of the decorative component 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
