Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment device capable of reducing SOcontained in exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine with C heavy oil as fuel, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas treatment device 10 includes: a storage unit 12 configured to store sea water SW; an introduction unit 14 configured to introduce exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine with C heavy oil as fuel, into the sea water SW stored in the storage unit 12; a heat exchanger 16 configured to cool, with external sea water, contacted sea water that is the sea water SW contacting with the exhaust gas in the storage unit 12; a treatment unit 18 configured to store the contacted sea water cooled by the heat exchanger 16, and release air to the contacted water; and a pump 20 configured to pump supernatant of the contacted sea water treated by the treatment unit 18 to the storage unit 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
