Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicular engine, capable of detecting abnormal idle of the engine.SOLUTION: The control device for the vehicular engine includes an intake passage 11, a throttle valve 13, a bypass passage 15 bypassing the throttle valve 13, an idle speed control valve 14 provided in the bypass passage 15, a speed sensor 32, a throttle sensor 33, fuel cut means 31, control means 31 for controlling the opening of the idle speed control valve 14 to keep an engine speed during idling to be a preset target speed, and abnormality determination means 31 for determining that abnormal idle occurs in the engine 1 during idling when the throttle opening is a predetermined first opening threshold value or smaller and the frequency of fuel cut is a predetermined frequency threshold value or greater within a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
