Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlight in which the vicinity of an outer periphery of a projection lens can be made to sufficiently emit light.SOLUTION: A vehicular headlight 1 comprises: a first optical system 8 comprising a main light source 12, a reflecting mirror 13 for reflecting light from the main light source 12, and a shade 14 for blocking a portion of reflected light from the reflecting mirror 13; a projection lens 9 for transmitting light from the first optical system 8; and an outer peripheral lens 10 formed on an outer periphery of the projection lens 9. A second optical system 11 for making the outer peripheral lens 10 emit light is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
