Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten conductor distance in a multilevel inverter using DC capacitors DCP, DCN and flying capacitors FCP, FCN, and to reduce wiring inductance by laminating so that currents flow in the opposite direction to each other.SOLUTION: Flying capacitors FCP, FCN and DC capacitors DCP, DCN are arranged on the opposite sides, respectively, centering on semiconductor modules Ma-Md each of which constitutes a charging/discharging path of the flying capacitors FCP, FCN. Conductors 2, 3, 4, 5 for cathodes and anodes of the frying capacitors are laminated on each other. Conductors 6, 7 for an anode and a cathode of the DC capacitors are laminated on a conductor 8 for neutral-point potential. These extend linearly from a heat sink 1 in the opposite direction to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
