PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of masking an unpleasant taste capable of reducing the unpleasant taste of HMB calcium and an HMB calcium-containing composition having masked the unpleasant taste.SOLUTION: A method of masking an unpleasant taste of HMB calcium of this invention includes blending relative to 1 pt.mass of HMB (β-hydroxy-β-methyl butyrate) calcium, 0.1-10 pts.mass of inositol, 0.02-0.5 pt.mass of at least one kind of high-sweetness sweetener selected from a group consisting of Momordicae fructus extract, stevia extract, thaumatin, licorice extract, glycyrrhizin, phyllodulcin, monellin, aspartame, sucralose, saccharin, neotame, acesulfame potassium, and cyclamate, and 0.1-10 pts.mass of cyclic oligosaccharide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
