Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancing function training device that simultaneously stimulates somatic sensation, vestibular sensation and visual sensation concerning the balancing function to various patients such as an elderly person, a stroke patient, a vertigo patient, a balancing dysfunction person and a Parkinson's disease patient, and thereby the capability of the balancing function can be improved by getting the cooperativeness of each sense.SOLUTION: A balancing function training device includes: a riding part where a trainee rides thereon and it is provided in a movable manner; a riding part movement mechanism for moving the riding part; a measuring part for measuring a change of the posture of the trainee; visual stimulation means for generating visual stimulation and giving the visual stimulation to the trainee; and posture teaching means for teaching the change of the posture of the trainee by performing calculation processing according to measurement results by the measuring part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
