Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-extinguishing system having an extremely simple configuration including only a hose and a water nozzle mounted on a vehicle, capable of moving the vehicle closer to a fire site by automatic driving or remote control operation, and, when delivering water, suppressing an occurrence of a water hammer as much as possible.SOLUTION: A hose reel 5 is installed on a base 4 of a vehicle 2 so as to rotate about a rotary shaft 11 extending in a vertical direction; a hose 7 having shape-retaining properties is spirally wound around the hose reel 5 about the rotary shaft 11; the lower end of the hose 7 is connected to a water discharge pump (not shown) installed on a rear side of the vehicle 2; and the upper end of the hose 7 is connected via the rotary shaft 11 of the hose reel 5 to a water nozzle 6 installed on the upper position of the vehicle 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
