Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the proper handling even on a top page of a continuous printing operation, and reduce the load on the design for image handling in the design of control software of an image transfer unit to improve the design efficiency.SOLUTION: An image transfer unit includes: a Tag reception unit which receives Tag information one time per one page from an external controller; a Tag write DMA unit which outputs a set write process ID and accumulates the received Tag information in a memory region; and a Tag read DMA unit which outputs a set read process ID at the timing of receiving multi-value image data of each plate and reads the accumulated Tag information from the memory region to output the information. A memory access stop control unit stops a memory read operation by outputting a memory access stop request signal to the Tag read DMA unit when comparing the read process ID with the write process ID and determining that the page is the same during the operation of the Tag write DMA unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
