Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air belt which can easily stabilize a constraint position at deployment while alleviating a load applied to an occupant from the air belt by the deployment.SOLUTION: An air belt 1 comprises a hollow-woven part 10 composed of two-layer hollow-woven parts A and three-layer hollow-woven parts X, Xwhich are alternately arranged in a longitudinal direction. The two-layer hollow-woven parts A have an air-tight surface layer 60 and a back layer 70, and the first three-layer hollow-woven part Xis a non-woven layer Ycomposed of only the surface layer which is common to the two-layer hollow woven part, the back layer, and a warp Fwhose one end Yis woven from the surface layer, and the other end Yis woven from the back layer, and makes the two-layer hollow-woven parts at one side end and the other end side gas-communicate with each other. The second three-layer hollow-woven part Xis a non-woven layer Ycomposed of only the surface layer common to the two-layer hollow-woven part, the back layer, and a warp Fwhose the other end is woven from the surface layer, and one end is woven from the back layer, and makes the two-layer hollow-woven layers at one end side and the other end side gas-communicate with each other.
