Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support apparatus which may improve fuel consumption and riding comfort.SOLUTION: A drive support apparatus comprises an affect possibility determining part 22 and a preceding vehicle speed controlling part 23. The affect possibility determining part 22 determines whether own vehicle would be affected with deceleration of a preceding vehicle (a first preceding vehicle) indicating a vehicle preceding with one or more interposed vehicles from own vehicle. Under a situation where it is determined that own vehicle would be affected with deceleration of the preceding vehicle (the first preceding vehicle), when the preceding vehicle decelerates, the preceding vehicle speed controlling part 23 decelerates own vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
