Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability while suppressing cost of a sheet feeding device.SOLUTION: A sheet supporting means (32) which can be lifted and lowered, a movable part (63) which can move by contacting to a device body, and a buffer mechanism (60) containing a resistance member (62) are arranged in a sheet storage means (30). When the sheet storage means is inserted into the device body, the buffer mechanism resists relative movement of the movable part and the sheet storage means due to resistance force generated by the resistance member, so that insertion speed of the sheet storage means is suppressed. When the sheet storage means is drawn from the device body under a condition where the sheet supporting means is lifted, the buffer mechanism resists lowering of the sheet supporting means due to the resistance force generated by the resistance member, so that a descending speed of the sheet supporting means is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
