Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cutter capable of forming a removal part of the length without variation by providing a folding margin I so as to form a tape removal part, and capable of preventing injuries of hands, fingers and the like by a cutting blade C.SOLUTION: A tape peeling port P-P' is pressed by a tape body pressing spring B so that a folding margin I is fixed on a tip of a folding back plate A or on a swingable folding back plate M, to prevent slip of the tape body. After cutting the drawn tape with a cutting blade C, if the drawn tape is PQ=PR and P'Q=P'R' in equal sides of isosceles triangles PQR and P'QR', pointed ends R and R' of the folding margin I are at the same position, and further, by deciding the position of the folding back plate A so that the length of the folding margin I is made constant, a removal part is formed by folding at the tip of it, or folding back the fixed folding margin I together with M downward by 180° by a tape tip pressing spring B-1 on the swingable folding back plate M. Further, a safety cover F for preventing injury of hands, fingers and the like by the cutting blade C, and controlled by a safety cover opening/closing spring G.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure -5
