Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing shrinkage cracks after curing and improving the strength after firing at 1000°C in casting monolithic refractories without addition of alumina cement by using aluminum lactate.SOLUTION: In the method for producing casting monolithic refractories, an organic fiber is added in an amount of 0.05 to 0.3 mass% in outer percentage as a curing inhibiting material to a formulation in which aluminum lactate is added in an amount of 0.1-2.0 mass% in outer percentage with respect to 100 mass% of refractory material. Further, ultrafine alumina powder having a specific surface area of 50 to 150 m2/g is added by 1.0-10.0 mass% in outer percentage to improve the strength after firing at 1000°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
