Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel transfer device configured to reduce flow resistance of fuel, which is suctioned from a fuel storage tank and transferred.SOLUTION: A fuel transfer device includes: a transfer pipe 5 including a bell mouth 5A1 with an opening at a pipe end part 5A, the opening directed to a bottom part of a fuel storage tank 2A; and a heating unit configured to use part of heated fuel from a fuel settling tank 3, to heat fuel flowing in the transfer pipe 5. The heating unit is characterized in that in the vicinity of a position where the transfer pipe 5 is inserted into the fuel storage tank 2A, a branch pipe confluent with the pipe end part 5A of the transfer pipe 5 is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
