Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the amount of oil to be cooled when a lower degree of cooling is required at low speeds of a machine, and increase the amount of oil to be cooled when a high degree of cooling is required at high speeds of the machine.SOLUTION: An oil circuit (5) for lubrication and cooling of a variable-speed machine (1) comprises an oil reservoir (10) with oil (11), and an oil pump (13) capable of pumping the oil from the oil reservoir via an oil pipe (12) to the machine. The oil pump is driven by a motor (4) of the machine. The oil circuit (5) further comprises a bypass pipe (15) and a bypass valve (14) which are configured to guide the pumped oil (11) back to the oil reservoir. The oil circuit further comprises an oil cooler (16). The oil cooler (16) is placed in the bypass pipe (15).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
