Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve current cut-off performance of a vacuum circuit-breaker.SOLUTION: A shrinkage ring 1 is provided in the contact piece 2 of a vacuum interrupter 10. The contact piece 2 includes a cup-shaped contact base 3 that is the contact piece 2 body, a contact plate 4 (electrode) provided on the end face thereof, and a shrinkage ring 1. The contact base 3 includes a coil member 5, and a contact piece end plate 6 provided at the end of the coil member 5. The shrinkage ring 1 is provided on the inner peripheral side of the coil member 5 coaxially therewith. One end of the shrinkage ring 1 is brazed to the contact plate 4. Outer periphery 1e of the contact piece end plate 6 side end of the shrinkage ring 1 is brazed to the inner periphery of the coil member 5. Between the flange 1f of the shrinkage ring 1 and the outer periphery 1e, a side part 1g is formed so that the external-diameter of the shrinkage ring 1 is reduced. A through hole 1h penetrating the sidewall of the shrinkage ring 1 is formed in the side part 1g.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
