Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning arrestor capable of detecting a failure state of the lightning arrestor in simple configuration and outputting a fault signal of a varistor surely on an early stage.SOLUTION: Between multiple power supply terminals 12, 14 and 16 connected to power supply lines 1-3 of an AC power source and a ground terminal 18, multiple varistors 20, 22, 24 and 26 and relatively high temperature operation type temperature fuses 28, 30 and 32 which are operated by exothermic heat in the case of failure of the varistors 20, 22, 24 and 26 and cut off power supply to the varistors 20, 22, 24 and 26 are disposed. Between a pair of contacts R1-R2 that is not connected to the power supply lines 1-3 of the AC power source, relatively low temperature operation type temperature fuses 34 and 36 which are operated by exothermic heat in the case of failure of the varistors 20, 22, 24 and 26 are disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
