Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a two-wheeled motor vehicle which has excellent brake performance and traction performance in high speed revolution running and achieves excellent transient characteristics.SOLUTION: A tire 2 includes a band 14 positioned at the radial inner side of a tread 4. A band cord of the band 14 is spirally wound and extends in a circumferential direction. The band 14 includes a center part 38 and a pair of side parts 40. Density Ec of the band cord in the center part 38 is smaller than density Em of the band cord in the side part 40. In an axial direction, an outer end Pb of the band 14 is located at the inner side of an axial outer edge Pa of a lumenal surface 42 and is located at the outer side of a straight line RL defining a rim width. The tread 4 includes: a center area 48 in which the center part 38 is located at the inner side; a pair of middle areas 50 in which the side parts 40 are located at the inner side; and a pair of shoulder areas 52 located adjacent to the axial outer side of the respective middle areas 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
