Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor excellent in durability.SOLUTION: The disclosure relates to the temperature sensor comprising: a heat-sensing element; a plurality of conductors; a sheath tube; a metallic tube; filler; and a metallic cap. The tube has a trunk part for storing the sheath tube, a top end part for storing the heat-sensing element, and a diameter-reduced part. The sheath tube is separated from the inner surface of the diameter-reduced part. The cap, the tube, and the sheath tube are fixed by caulking from 6 directions or 8 directions in a radial direction in an overlapping region where the cap, the tube and the sheath tube overlap each other. The temperature sensor satisfies the following formulas (1), (2), and (3) in the non-caulked portion of the top end part side rather than a caulked portion in the overlapping area when A denotes a thickness of the sheath tube, B denotes a gap between the outer surface of the heath tube and the inner surface of the cap, C denotes the thickness of the tube, D denotes the thickness of the cap and E denotes a gap between the outer surface of the tube and the inner surface of the cap.
