PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for multiple-user uplink bandwidth allocation.SOLUTION: A method for wireless communication comprises the steps of: receiving an assignment of a frequency bandwidth for an uplink transmission of a station; determining whether or not a portion of the assigned frequency bandwidth is unavailable for the uplink transmission; and selectively transmitting the uplink transmission on the basis of whether or not the portion of the assigned frequency bandwidth is unavailable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
