Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an athletic ability measuring method, an athletic ability measuring device, and a program capable of accurately counting reciprocating motions even by a subject alone.SOLUTION: An athletic ability measuring method includes: a transmission/reception procedure for irradiating a subject with an electromagnetic wave, and receiving reflection waves of the electromagnetic wave; a measurement procedure for extracting the largest reflection wave of the reflection waves received in the transmission/reception procedure, and measuring a distance to the subject or a velocity of the subject; and a counting procedure for acquiring time-series waveforms in which the distances or the velocities measured in the measurement procedure are arranged in a time-series manner, and counting a reciprocation frequency of reciprocating motions performed by the subject from the repetition of a long distance and a short distance of the distances in the time-series waveforms, or the inversion of positive and negative symbols of the velocities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
