Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve space efficiency in containers or pipe bodies obtained by welding half-split bodies without impairing the reliability of welding.SOLUTION: A pair of thermoplastic resin half-split bodies 1,2 are welded together at end faces to produce containers or pipe bodies. The thermoplastic resin half-split body 1 has a flange 12 extending along a welding surface WS. In at least a part of a section of the flange in the circumferential direction, a portion becoming a wall surface of a container has a first wall part 11a and a second wall part 11b. The first wall part 11a extends along a welding pressure direction at a site approximately coinciding with an outside edge part 122 of the flange in the width direction of the flange 12. The second wall part 11b connects an inner marginal part 121 of the flange and the first wall part 11a, and the space between the flange 12 and the second wall part 11b faces to the outer space of the container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
