Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a vehicle with high accuracy to detect performance of an open/close body and being configured in a simple structure.SOLUTION: A lock device for a vehicle, which perform holding and releasing of an open/close body with respect to a vehicle body, is provided with: a latch rotatable from an open position where a striker is allowed to enter a groove to a fully locked position where the striker is positioned within the groove to make the open/close body placed in a fully closed condition; a pole rotatably arranged to limit its rotation to the open position through engaging the latch in the fully closed condition; and a switch to detect a closed condition of the open/close body where the pole engages with the latch in the fully locked position and to always detect an open condition of the open/close body where the pole is in a condition other than the closed condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
