Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous layer for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which is superior in the resistance of a separator.SOLUTION: An insulating porous layer for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: an inorganic filler; and a resin. The inorganic filler has a core diameter in a range of 0.1-11 μm, and a BET specific surface area of 100 m/g or less per unit area. As to the insulating porous layer, a value represented by the formula (1) below falls in a range of 0.10-0.40: |1-T/M| (1). (In the formula (1), T represents a distance to a critical load in TD under a constant load of 0.1 N in a scratch test, and M represents a distance to the critical load in MD under a constant load of 0.1 N in a scratch test.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
