Abstract:
To provide a partition capable of dampening noise when a panel is closed.SOLUTION: A partition moves a panel 2 in opening and closing directions by an upper runner 6a moving along an upper rail 3a, and automatically moves the panel 2 in the closing direction by a self-closing mechanism 4. The self-closing mechanism 4 comprises: a cord 31 that is extended in the upper rail 3a and a stile 12a, one end of which is fixed to a wall part 31b positioned in the closing direction, and the other end of which is fixed to the stile 12a; a running block 33 that is arranged in a vertically movable manner in the stile 12a and around which the cord 31 is wound from a lower side, between the one end and the other end; a weight 35 that applies a load downward to the running block 33 in the stile 12a; and a damper 34 that decelerates downward movement of the running block 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
