Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent desorption of an external additive during image formation.SOLUTION: When receiving a request of a print job, if the temperature inside the apparatus is equal to or less than a third temperature, the image forming apparatus turns on the power of a heater. The image forming apparatus performs heating with the heater and does not permit supply of toner until the toner temperature at a first position P1 exceeds a first temperature, or the difference between the toner temperature at the first position and the developer temperature at a second position after the apparatus turns on the power of the heater becomes a second temperature or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
