Abstract:
To provide an external device connection adapter for SSD capable of remarkably improving workability by eliminating screw fastening operation and screw removing operation, and while having such a simple structure, capable of securely conducting an SSD and an external device by holding the SSD at the same position as when the SSD is mounted.SOLUTION: An external device connection adapter 1 for SSD includes: a connection board 6 on which a card edge connector 2 of a type for inserting an SSD 20 from an obliquely upward direction and an external device connection connector 4 conducted to the card edge connector 2 are arranged; a frame 8 on which the connection board 6 is arranged; a pressing portion 10, supported by a support portion 8a formed on the frame 8, pivotally provided in a direction to push down the SSD 20 toward the connection substrate 6; and a position fixing portion that holds the SSD 20 pressed down by the pressing portion 10 at a predetermined position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
