Abstract:
To reduce disadvantages of a coupling structure between conventional cavity resonators for forming a filter.SOLUTION: A device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first portion to define a first area in a plane that is substantially perpendicular to a first magnetic field direction in a first cavity resonator and a second portion to define a second area in a plane that is substantially perpendicular to a second magnetic field direction in a second cavity resonator. As a result, the device includes an inductor in which inductive current generated in the first portion flows in substantially the same direction as current in the second portion. The first area and the second area determine a coupling constant between magnetic fields in the first cavity resonator and the second cavity resonator. The conductor can be adjusted to be rotatable around an axis. The first cavity resonator and the second cavity resonator operate as a TE-101 mode resonator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
