Abstract:
To suppress abrasion caused by sliding of a helical gear to a thrust washer receiving a thrust load from the helical gear.SOLUTION: In a helical gear device 10, a thrust washer 22 is provided with a first washer thrust face 42 having a spherical center O on a second axis C2 at a second helical gear 16 side with respect to the thrust washer 22, and face-contacted with a gear thrust face 44 of a bottom portion 34 of the second helical gear 16 to receive thrust load from the second helical gear 16, as face pressure reduction means. Thus the face pressure received from the second helical gear 16 of the thrust washer 22 when an excessive load is applied to the thrust washer 22 from the second helical gear 16 when the second helical gear 16 is inclined to a supporting shaft 20 by moment M generated in engagement of a first helical gear 12 and a third helical gear 18, is reduced. That is, abrasion caused by sliding of the second helical gear 16 to the thrust washer 22 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
