Abstract:
To prevent a foreign matter having a predetermined particle diameter from entering a bearing, to reduce a seal torque.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing with a seal comprises an outer ring 2, an inner ring 3, a plurality of balls 6 assembled between the outer ring 2 and the inner ring 3, and a seal member 10 configured to seal a bearing internal space between the outer ring 2 and the inner ring 3. The seal member 10 has a fitting part 12a fitted to a seal fitting groove 8 provided on the outer ring 2, an inward lip part 14 sliding on a first seal slide surface 33 provided on the inner ring 3, and a seal lip part 13 sliding a second seal slide surface 31 provided axially outward with respect to the first seal slide surface 33. On a surface sliding on the second seal slide surface 31, of the seal lip part 13, an oil passage 13b communicating between the bearing internal space and a bearing external space is formed, and a plurality of projections capable of lubricating fluid between the seal lip part 13 and the second seal slide surface 31 are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
