Abstract:
To provide an in-cabin illumination device capable of executing illumination with a performance effect by a light and a shadow to a vehicle interior material, and capable of changing the performance effect significantly.SOLUTION: An in-cabin illumination device 1 includes a vehicle interior material 2 having a three-dimensional pattern 24 on a surface 23 of an ornament part, which is disposed on a wall surface of a vehicle, and a lower side light source 3 for illuminating the surface of the ornament part from the lower side. A seated person visually recognizes the surface of the ornament part from above to obliquely downward, and bright-and-dark patterns 25 and 26 of the three-dimensional pattern are different significantly in a case where the surface of the ornament part is illuminated from below and in a case where the surface of the ornament part is illuminated from a natural light entering through a window or from a light source attached to the upper side of the cabin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
