To provide a molding material capable of forming a molding excellent in transparency, antifouling properties and mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A molding material comprises a copolymer comprising a polymerization unit (M) based on a methyl methacrylate and a polymerization unit (S) based on a compound represented by the general formula (1) defined by Rf-Z-Y-C(=O)-CX=CH(where X is a hydrogen atom, methyl group or chlorine atom; Y is -O- or -NH-; Z is -(CH)-, with n being an integer from 1 to 4; and Rf is a C1-6 fluoroalkyl group), where the molar ratio (M)/(S) of the polymerization unit (M) to the polymerization unit (S) is from 80/20 to 99/1.SELECTED DRAWING: None
