Abstract:
To provide a light source lighting device and a lighting apparatus receiving power from a DC power source, capable of reducing flickering of a light source due to power supply fluctuation and reducing in-rush current, and capable of downsizing.SOLUTION: A light source lighting device 1 according to the present invention includes: a lighting circuit 14 receiving power from a DC power source 100 to light a light source; and a flickering reduction circuit 2 connected in parallel with the DC power source between the DC power source and the lighting circuit. The flickering reduction circuit includes: a capacitive element 6; an impedance element 4 connected in series with the capacitive element on the high potential side of the capacitive element; and a first diode 5 whose anode is connected to a junction of the impedance element and the capacitive element, and whose cathode is connected on the high potential side of the lighting circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
