Abstract:
To provide a composite material comprising γ-AlOfine particles having a large specific surface, which carry nano-order metal particles, and a production method of the composite material.SOLUTION: The production method of a composite material in accordance with the present invention includes: vaporizing a carbon-containing metal compound containing at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Ni, Co, Fe and Cu; and supplying the vaporized carbon-containing metal compound into a furnace body that stores γ-AlOparticles which exhibit a porous structure having regular channels (pores) or cavities (voids) and have an average particle diameter of 50 nm or more and 2000 nm or less, and that has a rotation axis in a direction substantially perpendicular to the gravity direction and rotates, so as to precipitate metal particles containing the metal element on the surfaces of the γ-AlOparticles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
