Abstract:
To improve fuel economy in a vehicle capable of selectively executing first operation control and the second operation control.SOLUTION: System voltage Vsys in second operation control (automatic operation control, cruise operation control) is set lower compared to the one in first operation control (manual operation control) in the same operating states of a rotor. Therefore, power losses in an inverter 50 and a set-up converter 51 in the second operation control are set smaller, compared to a case where system voltage Vsys in the second operation control and in the first operation control are set to the same value when the operating states of the rotor are the same. In the second operation control, fuel economy improvement takes priority over drivability improvement, compared to the first operation control, and the system voltage Vsys is set low. Accordingly, in the vehicle 10 capable of selectively executing the first operation control and the second operation control, vehicle efficiency can be improved (i.e., fuel economy can be improved).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
