Abstract:
To provide orally rapidly disintegrating tablets containing bepotastine which is an active ingredient with bitter taste or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, having an excellent oral disintegration and sufficient hardness at the same time, being capable of manufacturing at ordinary tablet production equipment, and the bitter taste being masked.SOLUTION: Provided are an orally rapidly disintegrating tablet containing bepotastine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, an additive, water-insoluble polymer, and a disintegrant; as well as a method for producing an orally rapidly disintegrating tablet comprising 1) mixing and granulating bepotastine and an additive to obtain granulated granules; 2) mixing additives with the granulated granules to obtain granules for tableting; and 3) compression molding of the granules for tableting; and a method comprising 1) mixing and granulating bepotastine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt excipient thereof to obtain granulated granules; 2) mixing the granulated granules and an additive to obtain tableting granules; and 3) compression molding the tableting granules.SELECTED DRAWING: None
