Abstract:
To provide a method for modifying a hard ground that can shorten construction greatly even if the intermediate layer is a hard ground when a long object is installed in the ground.SOLUTION: A casing 15 whose tip is provided with bits 14, and a screw auger 17 inserted into the casing 15 are used. Excavation is performed up to the lower end of a hard ground 13 in a region where a long object is installed by rotating the casing 15 and the screw auger 17 in directions opposite to one another, and thereby softening the hard ground. Afterward, while the casing 15 and the screw auger 17 is rotated in directions opposite to the time of excavation to lift them, clay mineral-based gel is injected into gaps formed by the softening from the tip of the screw auger 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
