Abstract:
To provide an engine-driven work machine capable of reducing temperature rise of a muffler or deterioration of a catalyst even in a case where a worker is not aware of leaving the engine work machine after starting it.SOLUTION: An engine-driven work machine 1 has a controller 18 and a muffler. The controller 18 operates in a first idle state from start of an engine 2, in a rotational frequency suppression mode of inhibiting the engine 2 from rotating at a rotational frequency higher than a predetermined suppression rotational frequency. The controller 18 is configured to forcibly stop the engine 2 after a period where the controller operates in the rotational frequency suppression mode passes a predetermined period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
