Abstract:
To improve fan efficiency, in a centrifugal blower which has a structure in which air flows into a centrifugal fan from one direction intersecting a fan axis.SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower 10 is equipped with a casing 20, and a centrifugal fan 50. The casing 20 has a fan storage portion 22 formed with an air take-in port 221a for taking air into an opposite wall portion 222 opposite to a fan suction port 541. The casing 20 has an introducing path forming portion 24 for forking an air introducing path 240 which makes air from the outside flow in one direction intersecting a fan axis CLf and leads that to the centrifugal fan 50, between the opposite wall portion 222 and the casing 20. On the opposite wall portion 222, at a peripheral edge part surrounding the air take-in port 221a, a projecting portion 30 which extends along the fan axis CLf and projects out from the opposite wall portion 222 side toward the air introducing path 240 side is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
