To provide a heat insulating structure that is inexpensive, can be readily and reliably removed and re-installed, and can reliably insulate heat and hold the temperature.SOLUTION: In a heat insulating structure for a first class pressure vessel, an external surface of a first class pressure vessel is detachably covered with a heat insulating material made of a foamed body.
