Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic endoscope that can secure an inner space of a tip hard part, and a production method of the ultrasonic endoscope.SOLUTION: A radial type ultrasonic endoscope has a direct view optical system in the tip. The ultrasonic endoscope includes: an imaging part extending in the longitudinal direction inside of an insertion part; an ultrasonic vibrator where multiple piezoelectric elements capable of transmitting and receiving ultrasound are annularly arranged along a circumferential direction of a tip hard part; multiple coaxial lines for transmitting an ultrasonic signal; a flexible board for electrically connecting the piezoelectric element with the coaxial line, and having the tip side part connected with the piezoelectric element forming substantially a cylindrical shape around the imaging unit; and a shape-memory member provided at least at the back side of a base end portion where the coaxial line is wired among the back sides being opposite sides with the wiring surface in the flexible board, forming an initial shape where the base end side portion is folded, and enabling deformation and shape recovery by heating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
