Abstract:
To solve mismatch and problem of an ink.SOLUTION: Provided is an ink station assembly 200 for a can decoration machine. The ink station assembly includes: an ink reservoir 202 which provides supply of an ink; an ink retention roll 204; a distribution roll 206; a transfer roll 208 which cooperates with the ink retention roll and the distribution roll; plural oscillation rolls 210, 212 which have a longitudinal axis 214, and are oscillated back and forth along the longitudinal axis; plural transition rolls which cooperate with those oscillation rolls; a printing plate cylinder including a printing plate; and a single foam roll 230 which is so cooperated with the printing plate cylinder as to coat the printing plate with the ink. A diameter of the single foam roll is larger than a diameter of the printing plate cylinder, and the printing plate cylinder makes one rotation before the single foam roll makes one rotation. Therefore, any part of the single foam roll does not contact with the printing plate over one time per one rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
