Abstract:
To increase torsional rigidity while reducing an outer diameter of a transmission shaft of a crank-type power transmission device.SOLUTION: According to this power transmission device, a pinion 18 is formed by cutting out an outer peripheral face of a transmission shaft 15, a bearing 16 applies the outer peripheral face of the transmission shaft 15 adjacent to the pinion 18 as a rolling face 15a, and an outer diameter Dp of the pinion 18 is agreed with an outer diameter Dn of the rolling face 15a, a maximum outer diameter of the rolling face 15a of the bearing 16 can be secured and torsional rigidity of the transmission shaft 15 can be increased without increasing the maximum outer diameter of the transmission shaft 15, through in a comparison example in which the rolling face 15a supporting the bearing 16 and the pinion 18 projecting radially outward with respect to the rolling face 15a at a tooth tip are alternately disposed, the torsional rigidity of the transmission shaft 15 is reduced by the bearing rolling face 15a of a diameter smaller than the pinion 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
