Abstract:
To reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: A storage unit 11a stores each piece of information of power consumption of calculation nodes 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d and information of a plurality of jobs executed in parallel by the calculation nodes 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d. When a total power consumption of the calculation nodes 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d reaches a threshold, a processing unit 11b extracts a first job of the maximum power consumption among the plurality of jobs on the basis of information stored in the storage unit 11a. If a time period before completion scheduled time for execution of the first job is a prescribed time period or more, the processing unit 11b performs a process to reduce power consumption of the calculation nodes 12a and 12b for executing the first job. If the time period before completion scheduled time of the first job is less than the prescribed time period, the processing unit 11b performs a process to reduce power consumption of the calculation nodes 12c and 12d other than the calculation nodes 12a and 12b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
