Abstract:
To provide a technology by which detachment of a wheel cover by a user can be prevented through a simple configuration.SOLUTION: This application discloses a grinder. The grinder comprises: a motor; a spindle on which a grinding wheel is mounted; a bevel gear that transmits rotation of the motor to the spindle; a motor housing for housing the motor; a gear housing mounted in front of the motor housing and housing the bevel gear; a spindle case mounted below the gear housing and holding the spindle such that the spindle is rotatable; a wheel cover mounted on the spindle case and covering outside of at least part of the grinding wheel; and a stopper member that inhibits detachment of the wheel cover. The stopper member is jointly fastened with a screw used for mounting the spindle case on the gear housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
