Abstract:
To make it possible to perform control for suppressing lock of a wheel as with an ABS function by an electric booster.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 26 calculates a slip ratio S as with an ECU32 based on a detection signal of a wheel speed sensor 37 to 40. When performing control processing in an ABS function backup mode, operation of an electric actuator 20 of an electric booster 16 is controlled, thereby performing backup control of an ABS function for preventing lock of each wheel (front wheel 1L, 1R and rear wheel 2L, 2R). That is, the control apparatus 26 can intermittently reduce a fluid pressure in a master cylinder 8 by moving a booster piston 18 of the electric booster 16 in a direction in which the fluid pressure in the master cylinder 8 is reduced, and can suppress lock of a wheel also in an ABS function failure state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
